UBEO's Involvement with Magdalena House:

At UBEO, we are honored to partner with Magdalena House and support their life-changing mission. Over the years, our contributions have included donated printing services, financial sponsorship for their annual Gala, and participation in auction fundraisers. Our team has also stepped up to build furniture, volunteer at property workdays, and fulfill children’s wish lists through our “UBEO Holiday Hug” program during Christmas.

“ I joined the MH Board of Directors at the request of the Founder, Rev. Denise Barker – and I’m glad I did. I have gone to the gala’s for years as a guest of John Barbieri and understood the need. It wasn’t until I joined the BOD that I truly understood the Mission. As a big brother of sisters, and a father of a daughter, the need to protect the loved ones around me drives me. I guess that’s what Denise saw in me. While I can’t stop all of the evil in the world, I can help drive the Mission that MH has to shelter those in need from the evil they faced.
